Completed in early 2020, the Arthur Phillip High School and Parramatta Public School project redefined educational architecture in Australia. Located in Parramatta’s CBD, the development features a 17-storey high school tower and a four-storey primary school, accommodating up to 3,000 students. This vertical school model addresses urban density challenges while providing state-of-the-art, technology-rich learning environments.
Comtex was entrusted with the design and installation of the communications infrastructure, encompassing structured cabling, data networks, and integrated communication systems. Our work ensured seamless connectivity across both schools, supporting innovative teaching methods and digital learning platforms. The project also involved integrating modern systems within heritage-listed buildings, preserving historical elements while meeting contemporary educational needs.
This landmark project sets a precedent for future educational facilities in densely populated urban areas, demonstrating how vertical design can effectively meet the demands of modern schooling.
